Candice Chan


Candice specializes in quantitative analyses using techniques in Operations Research.  She is a detailed-oriented analytical consultant who has demonstrated success in translating real world problems into insightful models that enhance decision-making through the use of statistical analysis, optimization and simulation modeling.  Candice has played a leadership role in a wide range of projects including forecasting, scheduling, capacity planning, resources allocations and inventory management.  In addition, she excels in designing business processes and supporting implementations to drive operations efficiencies and performances.


Prior to her graduate studies at the Centre for Operations Excellence in the Sauder School of Business at UBC, Candice also received a Master degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and has worked in the mining industry.  While being a highly technical person, Candice enjoys working with people and values client engagement. 


Outside of work, Candice is a competitive ultimate frisbee player in Vancouver and has represented Canada a few times to participle at World's Championships.
